The fact is tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis if you want to get technical, can strike almost anyone, although it is more common in middle age. It simply earned its nickname because it is commonly seen in tennis players (amateur and professional), a phenomenon attributed to the repetitive nature of the player’s racquet action.
